Story

Mohamed Ali Audi was 82 years old when Assad’s forces captured him and began their merciless torture session. They removed his fingernails with pliers and cut off his fingers. Then they decided to end his life by bludgeoning his skull with what looks like a massive hammer. This is what our elderly in Syria endure. In the twilight years of his life, they did not afford Mohamed the right to see his country free before his death - Assad ordered that grandparents be murdered so that they may never know the taste of freedom.
