The collision of a passenger bus and a trailer left seven people dead and 12 injured on the Silao-León highway, at the height of the Santa Ana del Conde bridge, yesterday.


The accident involved a double trailer from the Coca Cola company, a passenger bus, and a private service trailer.


According to the version of National Guard agents who arrived at the scene minutes after the mishap, on the right side of the road, in front of the “International” automotive company, the trailer of the Coca Cola company was stopped.



In that same lane the passenger bus was driving, it is presumed that when trying to pass, the driver did not realize that in the central lane the private trailer was traveling at high speed and hit it.


The passenger bus practically ripped in half.

Witnesses have claimed that the private van was trying to dodge a pedestrian in the road, which caused the accident.
