7 Dead After Night-time Shootings in Ecuador
Ecuador, Seven people were killed and at least fifteen injured as a result of shootings in urban sectors of the city of Esmeraldas, at midnight on Saturday the 19th. Some of the injured would be teenagers. In some of the attacks, long rifle-type weapons were used, according to ballistic evidence collected by agents of the police investigation units. These attacks occurred a few hours before the elections in the province of Esmeraldas, which was inaugurated without incident at the Electoral Processing Center, located in the Luis Prado Viteri educational unit, located in the north of the city. |
