52-Year-Old Woman Was Murdered With Machete
A 52-year-old woman, M.D.C.d.N., was murdered by a machete blow to the neck on Wednesday night (14). The crime took place in a rural area of União, Piauí state, Brazil. The murderer, who was apprehended by police, was A.E.B.d.S., 25. According to police, M. and A. used to consume alcohol together at the residence, which the woman frequented because she was in a relationship with the residence's owner. There are differing accounts over the motive. According to A., he had been told to leave to leave the residence by M. when he demanded more drinks, and he angrily got a machete and murdered her. Police suggest, however, that the murder may have been over M.'s purse, which contained around 300 reals (around $62) in cash. M. refused to hand over the purse to A., and eventually the owner of the residence decided to safeguard the purse to avoid further conflict. Instead, when he was once again refused the purse, an angry A. killed M. |

SMH… Murdered with a machete in her own home over the $62 in her purse… Life is so cheap there… Serves as yet another reminder why to not let morally questionable people into our homes (and why to never give up our guns, especially women who are at a disadvantage in upper body strength.)

Shout out to this guy for keeping it BRAZIL! I mean, if you are shut off from drinking, nothing says "Fuck you, I want another" like a machete blow to the jugular.

When i was a kid in 1969, I saw a movie at the drive-in starring John Carradine called ASTRO ZOMBIES where a cyborg beheads a cop with a machete in one clean swipe (it was a low-bugeter so the head rolling on the lawn was represented by a store mannequin head with red paint splashed on it for blood). But I have never ever seen a real life video or any documented account of decapitation by machete in one swipe. I'm so sad the movies lied.
