50 Vehicle Pileup in Fort Worth
Six confirmed dead so far in FW pile up this morning. More than 12 hours later I-35 W is still shut down as firefighters make their way one vehicle at a time checking for bodies and clearing the wreckage.

Omg! That is horrifying.
The quiet as it’s happening makes it so much worse. I was almost in one of these accidents a few years back. Spun out around the lead vehicle and missed it by maybe an inch. Texas doesn’t prepare well for icy conditions. They used a saline solution on the roads yesterday but clearly it wasn’t enough.

News is still breaking. FW news source Star Telegram states there were 133 vehicles involved in the pileup. They include video from another angle.

Not sure about anyone else but the video is just black to me.

Absolutely crazy shit. To just feel yourself having no control over your vehicle and knowing you're about to hit things has to be terrible. Especially if your family is with you.
