i was gonna pick up a .50 BMG seen it at my local gun shop, i was scared to eyeball it though because of all our Fkd up canadian gun laws,

The muzzle velocity of a projectile from a .50 cal Browning depends on the ordinance used. For example, an M1 tracer round travels at 2700 fps, while a M903 SLAP or SLAP-T (Saboted Light Armor Penetrator/Tracer) travels at 4,000 fps. Damn expensive round too @ almost $13.00 per! Conversely, the muzzle velocity of a .50 cal Desert Eagle at about half the speed of the Browning, 1,510 fps.   [/IMG]
