You can see the u-bolts that broke in one of the pics. I read that they had to rig the last piece different than normal, thats why they used those u-bolts. 3 ironworkers were riding the piece up from the ground, and were on it when the bolts broke. You can see them falling through the air after shit goes wrong. I worked on a 500 foot tower and that was scary enough, i can't imagine 1800 feet. Those guys are a different breed.

at one point the sky was so blue that as they fell it almost looked like it was falling into water then i realized they were falling though the air long ass video tho until something happens the balls to ride up on that thing jesus i dont trust anything that much i barely trust elevators good post tho for sure |
