5 Killed After Car Hit a Logging Truck
Five people were killed in a traffic accident on the night of Thursday, 16th, on the national road (RN1) Matadi - Kinshasa near the village of Nduizi towards Kenge. An IST car coming from Matadi driving at high speed and made a bad overtaking until it hit a logging truck head-on of the company Eco-Trans. Witnesses report that all five passengers from the IST car died instantly. The Provincial Government has so far given no official assessment. The traffic police point out that speeding, drunkenness and lack of control at the wheel are the causes of this fatal accident. |
