Possible. The murder occurred in Honduras, though. Not to say that the Cartels don't have some influence in Honduras, but its a long way for them to stretch just to choke out a young woman in a pickup truck. Hard telling, though. No motive was mentioned in the news story. |

Could be that someone in the prison saw her visit someone they don't like very much ... maybe they whacked her.  |

Oddly enough, I came across several antemortem and additional photos of this case this week, despite the fact that it is seven years old.  Was doing searches in the area for another more recent case and found some stuff relating to this old video.
