Unfortunately, 1 innocent man was killed as well as at least 1 robber (I'm hoping both).

I've seen enough self-defense videos to know there are better ways to try and disarm an assailant. He was definitely winging it.

He had pretty good reaction time, but he was just a split-second too slow in getting his hand on the gun, and the first robber through the door knew how to retain.
