Really guys, you can point the finger and blame all you want but you do not know the circumstances behind this.
Chances are the truck driver did try to move his truck back, but the car was just jammed into it.
Secondly, There wasnt much that could be done for the guy in the first place without cutting equipment. He was trapped and crushed up against the car. The fire fighters cant get cutting equipment to him until the fire is out. The medics cant treat until the fire is out.
But I think one of the most important things here is that Russia just doesnt have as advanced EMS and Fire services as the western world.
Their EMS system is currently at the level the US or UK was maybe 20-30 years ago. Which is simply, throw on the stretcher and take to hospital. They dont have the training or equipment to stabalise, treat, and prolong his chances of survival. No IV lines, No spinal precautions, no medications, hardly even BLS training.
And by the time the fire was out he was already severly burned, on top of whatever trauma he already got from the initial impact. Interal bleeding, fractures etc are possible. in a lot of cases, people with 80% burns never make it anyway.
Horrible situation, but I dont particularly pin the blame on the truck driver, or anybody else. Doing so is ignorant and pointless.
You forget one thing, he drove up the arse of a car. Inattention.
