3 Killed, 7 Injured when Express Train Hits a Toyota
Saturday, July 26, 2025, at around 15.44 WIB a fatal collision between an express train and a Toyota occured at a level crossing without a barrier in North Sumatra. All victims were passengers of the Toyota Calya car. The victims who died were named, S. M. (40), M A. and Z. (30). Meanwhile, the survivor, namely Y. M. (43) who was the driver of the Toyota Calya, suffered serious injuries. The victims who suffered minor injuries were M F. A. (16), A. N. (14), A. V. Z. S. (10), A. J. P. (30), A. (32) and Y. (2). |

Seems to me that Y. M. 43 is completely at fault and should have died.  I wonder how they handle this kind of thing in a legal sense.   |
