3 Killed, 2 Injured in the Streets of Cancun

Cancun. Violence was again present in when criminal gangs attacked a rival group and left three dead and two injured, on Route 4 in Cancun.

The shooting occurred in and outside a house that had previously been searched by the State Attorney General's Office at the end of last year, supposedly because it was a point of sale for drugs. Also in this place a person was executed, in 2018.

Three people died, one of them sitting in a plastic chair, presumably to guard the place.

Two other people were injured, one of them in the leg.

Four hit men arrested:

Around 1:20 in the afternoon, agents of the Ministerial Police activated the Red Code and informed that they were in a chase in the Santa Fe district, in the street of the same name, in the closed street Diamante.

In a matter of minutes, the area was cordoned off by security agents, who cordoned off the area and, through a shower of lead, made a strong security device that gave positive results.

Although no security agency had granted an official position, nor revealed data, however, it was previously said that there were four detainees linked to organized crime, insured and short arms, as well as a vehicle that presented several gunshot wounds.
