At least four people, including 3 Colombians, tragically lost their lives after a helicopter, Robinson R44, crashed in a remote, wooded area located in the Vista Chinesa region, in the Alto da Boa Vista neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil after a sightseeing trip.

According to the local fire department, it has been officially confirmed that the victims of the accident include the pilot of the aircraft and 3 female passengers who were on a tourist trip and were on board during the incident that occurred in Brazilian territory.

Among the fatalities, it has been confirmed that the young Colombian influencer, Sofia M, died. She was visiting the neighboring country with her mother, Wendy M, 37, her grandmother, Rocio C, 59 and the pilot Alessandro R.
