I came across the first video on a few websites and, after doing a bit of research, found the backstory and some extra material. If this has been posted on the site before, please report.

A man who threatened to kill himself from atop a 50-foot-tall water tank died after he slipped off a metal ladder while trying to descend after being “convinced” by fire brigade officials to abandon his suicide bid.

According to fire department officials, a call was received at around 1.20pm about a man who had climbed up the water tank, threatening suicide.

After much effort and convincing, the man agreed to descend and stepped on the metal ladder of the water tank even as two officials of the fire department waited at the lower platform. However, just as the man took a couple of steps down the ladder, he lost his balance and slipped, falling past the platform and hitting the ground.

The man sustained severe head injuries in the fall. He was taken to hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.

Not really convinced that he slipped, more like he started to come towards the fire brigade officials in order to shut them the fuck up, then kinda jumped off of the stairs.

Who climbs down a ladder like that? I'm starting to think they will need a few more hundred years to evolve. LOL! Also, what's up with the dude climbing up the ladder holding his baby in 1 hand?
