True. I always chuckle when I hear people say things like "Wars make money" or "wars stimulate the economy". LOL. It's laughable, but also sad that many people actually hear crap like this and believe it because they don't actually understand economics even on a basic level. Wars cost the government $$$$. The people that benefit from wars are the owners of the weapon and ammunition manufacturing companies that supply the military with it's weapons. Everyone else pays for those weapons with their tax dollars and that seriously hurts the economy.
