India. Happened at an Oil petrol pump. The deceased were identified as Salla L. (33), and Chandanagari N. (34). Family members of the deceased staged a protest at the fuel station, demanding ₹50 lakh in compensation from the owner.  |

As my dad used to tell me, you have to be smarter than what you are playing with. These guys pushed this thing around and never bothered to look overhead to see if there was an obstacle in their path? You get what you get. In this case, they got dead.

Is there where the argument for dc/ac comes in? Here in the UK our plugs and electric tends to throw you off rather than hold you on it if that makes sense. I mean we still get electrocutions here but if you got a shock say for instance in the kitchen the current throws you. Whenever I see it abroad no matter if its a household supply or industrial they always seem to be compelled to hold on. Electric the unseen death. Better off just dont push portable scaffolds around, That's the lesson I take away. |
