I'd be interested to hear from people here that have kids, that if it actually came to it you'd have it in you to do this to someone if you found out they'd done something to your kids. As much as I'd like to think I'd love to exact revenge and justice, I'm not sure I'd have it in me - I certainly don't think I could laugh whilst doing it!!

I have a toddler son. I definitely don't think I could mutilate someone in this fashion, for the simple fact that it is evident the other things they did to him (cutting ear off, genitals) seemed to not inflict any pain or further suffering. Between the shock and any kind of adrenaline he probably didn't feel some of that. The extra stab wounds he probably didn't feel either.

If I were to exact revenge I would probably want to make it somewhere along the lines of Law Abiding Citizen. Give someone something that causes paralysis but you can still feel every bit of pain.
