2 Robbers Shot Dead on Subway by Undercover Cop

On the afternoon of Monday 08.31.2015 two people died after a criminal assault within a Recife subway car in accordance with the Brazilian Urban Train Company (CBTU), a civilian police undercover responded to a robbery, reaching two suspects. The approach took place at the time of Largo da Paz Station, Drowned in the West Zone. Despite the police report, the metro failed to stop the operation and circulates normally.

The subway car went through expertise of the Institute of Criminology (IC). According to the expert Vanja Coelho, the two dead suspects were undocumented and could not be identified. She added that there was no exchange of fire after one of the suspects to be armed with a revolver .38 The gun failed when he tried to shoot, said the IC.

PMs of the 12th Battalion were deployed to record the event and seized the weapon. A team from the Institute of Legal Medicine (IML) was sent to the station to collect the bodies. Police officers are also on site.
