2 men shot dead at point blank range in broad daylight
CCTV footage shows 2 men being shot dead at point blank range in broad daylight in Bellville, Cape Town, South Africa on Wednesday. The footage shows a man in a red hoodie shooting two men, aged 19 and 20, in Durban Road. The men fall to the ground as blood pool around their bodies. Seconds later, a panic-stricken crowd gathers around them. A police spokesperson said the unidentified suspect fled the scene and are yet to be arrested. A double murder case was registered for investigation. |

Same town, other case. CCTV footage has emerged showing the moments a woman was shot multiple times while she sat in her vehicle in Delft, Cape Town on Friday evening. In the video, the woman’s vehicle can be seen waiting while attendants washed the windscreen and fill the tank. A few seconds later, one man walks up towards the vehicle towards the passenger window. The man seems to look in the car but the driver moves the car forward even though the petrol hose was still connected to her car. The man then takes out a pistol and immediately begins shooting through the passenger window. The woman then drives the car forward in an attempt to escape. The hose can be seen detaching from her car as the shooter almost trips over it while trying to run away. Questions over an attempted hijacking are then raised as a second man enters from the sidelines and also opens fire at the back of the car while running away. It is not immediately clear if there was a third man involved. The woman was rushed to hospital but succumbed to her injuries before she could arrive. Earlier this week, a similar point-blank shooting took place in Bellville. One man walked up behind two pedestrians before opening fire. A double murder case was opened as a 19 and 20-year-old victim died. In that CCTV footage, the shooter can be seen placing the gun centimetres from the victim’s bodies. |

Seems like the driver either knew what was about to happen or recognized the person to the left of him. I say him because it didn't look like a woman, looked like a guy driving.
