2 Killed by Cylinder Explosion in Peshawar Pakistan at a CNG Refilling Station
Peshawar: Two including a woman were killed while two others were injured after a cylinder installed in a vehicle exploded at a gas station on Charsada road, GNN reported. According to details, the explosion happened as a car was getting its CNG tank refilled at the fuel station.  The car was destroyed completely. Rescue officials reached the spot. The deceased and the injured were shifted the injured to the nearby hospital.  Investigators said that the incident occurred due to a faulty and substandard quality cylinder. The most common cause of gas explosions is the use of faulty cylinders by vehicle owners and low checks by the relevant transport authorities.  Edit 1/11/20: Added Close-up Slo-Mo of Head Theft. |

There are two people next to the car, the darker one appears to have caused the red spray. The second person walks out, apparently the blast was highly directional and/or they were further away. It's a huge blast, the green pumps in the next island get shattered from the concussion, even the barrel nearest the camera pops its top. The sweeping guy runs over and carries away the body of the darky, or what's left of it. Can natural gas pressure tanks in cars explode with that much force? Looks almost like a mafia hit... |

Thanks for the story. Maybe the guy walking away later died from his wounds if its the same guy filling the car. I can't believe a pressure tank would have that much explosive power, that car looks like it had a big charge of explosive in it.
