Found it. Friday, September 28th, 2007, at Glen Canyon Recreational Area, at lake Powell. Try googling that. Search under "Big Bend Chat" for October 5th, 2007. Further notes: First report was by boaters who passed them 30 minutes prior and waved, then passed the site again, and noted their boat was capsized, and called for emergency services. The woman's body was found the same day by rescue personnel. The man's body was not found until 2013. |

What an infuriating derelict of duty by several of those boat operators. It was very clear something big was happening, many were rightly yelling for them to clear out and they just sat there as if they were more afraid they would lose their place in line for going up to the falls.

The squirters might be the only survivors on white boat. I'm guessing a huge wave hit the boat before the rocks. If so, the wave might have blown their asses to safety. Allah works in wondrous ways to perform...

Fucking maritime racist. You are just intolerant of boats of color. The red boat was the only boat with the brains to make a dash for safety, and you can't accept that. The melanin challenged boat bought the farm because of it's own stupidity, where do you nautical NAZIs get the idea that colored boat blocked anybody?
