Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
And there's the difference. People *diving* in the correct manner will break the surface tension of the water with pointed hands or feet, and keep their bodies precisely perpendicular to the water to prevent damage. These idiots not only jumped into shallow water (evident by the rippling and shadowing of the light casting a caustic shadow on the bottom of the river), they flopped into the water with no poise, their heads likely being snapped back with the impact with the water because they were looking down into it. Try it some time; jump off the high board of the pool and keep your head down so you face the water and tell us how good it feels. |

Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
lol why are people still arguing over this? hell...people HAVE survived the fall after jumping from the fucking san francisco bridge...so why is it so hard for some people to believe that these idiots actually survived a fall only a fraction of that height? |

Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
U can calculate how high it is with this formula: h=(g/2)*(t^2) h=(9,8m/s^2/2)*(1,5s^2) h=about 11m ? i used 1,5 second for the time... and without friction. In bathhouse there are 10m towers... i guess also that the water is too shallow. Cause the small size of the bridge makes that only small boats can go through, because the water level is very shallow. |

Re: 2 Idiots, 1 Bridge
Absolutely fake, cant believe it's even a debate. I've jumped off cliffs plenty higher than that. There would have to be less than 3 meters of water to hit the bottom jumping from that height, and look at how large that body of water is, doubtable.
