Brazil, Monday afternoon a 37-year-old man was shot during a robbery. F. J. S. d. L. worked as a door-to-door salesman and lived in the same street where the crime happened.

The victim was talking to neighbors on the sidewalk. The road was busy the moment the assailants arrived. There were two elements on a motorcycle. They announced the robbery to a group that was on the opposite sidewalk and they stole the motorcycle of one of them.

F. J. S. d. L. and another man, who were across the street, tried to run being afraid they would get robbed next. One of the thugs then fired his gun. The man who was with the victim was hit by a scrape on his clothes and had no injuries. The door to door seller, however, was fatally hit.

The assailants fled then and were no longer seen.

The victim was 37 years old and had worked for 16 years as door to door salesman. He was of a family of five brothers and leaves a wife and two children of 12 and of 4 years.
