2 Dead when a Motorized Pedicab Catches Fire in Head-on Crash with Bus
Philippines, Two men traveling in a motorized Pedicab a.k.a auto rickshaw, three-wheeler, Samosa, tempo, tuk-tuk, trishaw, bajaj, rick, tricycle, mototaxi, baby taxi or lapa were dead on the spot after their vehicle crashed head-on into an oncoming shuttle bus and caught fire along a highway in Davao City.


The accident happened at exactly 2:38 p.m. on Friday, October 10.

The victims were "thrown out dead from their pedicab, which caught fire when crashing into an over-speeding Metro Shuttle bus" bound for Malita.

The accident was captured on CCTV camera. There were no reports of injuries on the part of the bus passengers.

An investigation to determine the real cause of the road mishap is underway.
