2 Corpses Washed Upon the Beach, One Without Arm and Head
West Coast Regency, Lampung, Indonesia. The discovery of two naked bodies, one without head and arm, on the beach caused a stir among the people on Sunday. The condition of both bodies is particularly concerning. The bodies were decomposed and not intact. One of the bodies was found without head and feet, while the other body was also in a severely damaged condition presumably as a result of long immersion in the sea. Police explained that the discovery of the two bodies was related to a search operation for two residents of Lemong District, West Coast, who were earlier reported drowned in the Way Halami River. Police officially closed the search operation after the two victims named Nando (29) and Sukirman (50) were found dead by local residents. The incident began when four residents were fishing on Friday when suddenly, the discharge of the river increased drastically, triggering a flash flood. Two people managed to save themselves, while two others were dragged away by the strong current. The victim's family only learned of the incident in the evening and reported it to the North Coast Police Station. The report was then forwarded to the SAR Office on Saturday, so a search operation under the category of Conditions Endangering Humanity was immediately conducted. Since the first day, the combined SAR team combed the riverbed up to the estuary by dividing personnel in several Search and Rescue Units. The search was conducted using inflatable boats, underwater detection equipment, drones, as well as communication equipment. On the second day, thick cloudy weather had hampered the search so activities were temporarily suspended for the safety of personnel. After conditions improved, the search continued by expanding the radius to several kilometers from the initial location. The SAR team received information of the discovery of two bodies at the beach. After coordination with the health facility and the family, the bodies were confirmed to be the victims who was previously reported to have drowned. |

Re: 2 Corpses Washed Upon the Beach, One Without Arm and Head
It seems that marine life really doesn't care much for human meat. You'd think that in the sea, fishes, crabs, sharks and other creatures would turn a human into bone within hours but time and time again, pretty much entire bodies float to the beach intact. |
