Authorities identified Diego M.G, 19 years old and of Swedish descent, as the young man who lost his life after falling from the 40th floor of a high-rise building in downtown Bogotá.

They saw him go up shortly before the incident as he was staying at the hotel in the complex and, in the morning, climbed alone to the top floor.

Minutes later, witnesses saw him approach one of the windows. His body was later found on the street, having fallen from the top of the tower.

The Prosecutor's Office is investigating whether criminal involvement was involved.

Although it has not yet been confirmed whether it was an accident or whether a third party was involved, authorities are analyzing security cameras and other evidence to determine exactly what happened.
