Not sure how survivable they are when EMTs aren't exactly just a few minutes away. And places like this where bystanders are not much help.

He was shot in the calf. You can see the hole/wound. Clearly he was unable to get up and run to safety.

If I was one of the clerks, I would be the dick that pushed him out from behind the counter. I'm not about to get shot at over some criminals dumb choices.
