Bull riding isn't as awful as bull fighting. It isn't a blood sport... unless that bull kicks you in the head with over 1000 lbs of thrust, splitting your head open like a dropped egg, then it's a blood sport alright. Still feel sorry for him. Just a kid that wasn't really hurting anyone or anything. I think bulls probably enjoy trying to eject people off their backs and headfirst into the ground.

The bulls get their balls strangulated and are poked with sticks so that they react more heated. You can even see the rope tied around the bulls haunch. Stating that this is not a blood sport is like Quran saying: "Hit your women but mind it does not leave visible marks"
