I was going to comment this, and I saw you beat me to it. I've had it with the bullshit from extremists on both sides. I started being friends with a girl last year that I found out was an extreme anti vaxxer and she'd send Me Alex Jones type website content how it's not even safe to be in the vicinity of someone that's vaccinated. She also thought the Travis Scott concert tragedy last year was caused by magnetic fields caused by vaccinated people there. I threw her a tin foil hat and walked away

The issue is there is much bullshit that can't be disproven, and people are generally idiots that use confirmational bias and believe anything different to feel special and think because nobody has disproven it that it must be true, than other idiots believe it and it becomes a problem when it affects people's lives. Just because something hasn;t been disproven doesn't mean it's true and should be spewed around the internet as a truth.

In the 80's when seatbelts became mandatory people spread around that seatbelts were actually more harmful than without them and used any example for it. It didn't hold out because there was no platform to spread paranoia and fear onto, but with the internet we are seeing the same thing but because of social media bullshit spews faster than shit and because people are dumb that believe because nobody has proved it wrong that it must be true, it affects lives. Nobody gives a fuck what people believe and they should have means to debate it, but spreading bullshit isn't debating, making dumb comments like "This is the vaccine" isn't, it's trying to convince people.

Trying to bully people in using a platform to promote bullshit by calling it liberal, controlling, yada yada is just as manipulative as any government but people show they just ain't any better.

The Death sections have topicality requirements, which means you don't use them as a platform to spout conspiracy theories that are completely unrelated to the actual subject of the thread. If the data included with the photo/video indicates that a vaccination was involved, then it is fair game to discuss here. Otherwise, fuck off.

This really isn't rocket science. Nor is it actually up for debate. If you have a problem with it, go cry in the WC or email the site owner.

The incessant trend of inserting anti-vaxxing conspiracy theory into completely unrelated threads is a codified enough pattern that it constitutes Trolling. It happens far too frequently and its consistency enhances its disruption.

This is not then place for it and we're tired of tolerating it. The site owner has already banned several members in the past for continued promotion of AV conspiracies outside of the Watercooler. My continued efforts at keeping it out of the non-topical conversation stream are consistent with previous rulings on the subject.

I am actually a centrist and a libertarian, not all libertarians believe anything confirming their fears.
