I spent a decent stretch of time working in a mall serving a primarily black "ghetto" neighborhood, and I met a lot of women who had "having a boyfriend and then babies" as their main and only goal in life. They didn't really have anything else to look forward to in their lives except "getting by". So I can kinda understand why they would have such a massive brawl over a boy. I feel blessed that I had the opportunity and support from my family to aim for higher goals in life, to go to college and fall in love with learning, pursue a real career. Of course, I didn't really break the mold. My parents are Asian, and they gave their all trying to give me a better life. There's a million other asian dudes like me whose parents immigrated to the US and started a business in a ghetto trying to give their kids something better. But watching these videos, I have to admit I'm really glad I wasn't born as a black kid in a low-income neighborhood. I can't really see myself "getting out" if that had been the case. |

45 min away from the town I live in... get it together GA... I woke up to this on facebook and said yep, DR will have this one. 8 or 9 people including both the mothers have been arrested for murder since this could have been prevented.  Where I live we had about 55 homicides last year in our city so this isn't surprising anymore. |
