That could be anything, some of the grass/dirt, part of truck like a wheel, part of the overpass, etc. or maybe ,m just maybe it really was him. The world may never know.

exactly what i was thinking. there were people in the OTHER lane that were coming to try and help but the idiots in the near lane were more worried about hitting that exit so they wont be late for the start of "American Idol"!! texas drivers suck!!

hell, there was a similar semi accident in my area 2-3 weeks ago..a truck hauling a full tank of gasoline was going down the off ramp of interstate highway 74 onto highway 421 outside of Greensburg, IN too fast and failed to make the sharp turn and crossed the short grass median, then the oncoming traffic lane, and then jumped the on ramp to get back onto 74, the truck and the tanker was about 45-50 feet (conservative estimate; so i may be off) off the ground and the tanker exploded on impact. its nothing short of a miracle that this accident occurred during rush hour and there weren't any fatalities, and only the truck driver had been injured which were also pretty minor. i can post the dash cam video taken by a witness if anyone is interested

Very cool clip. It's a shame the trucker lost his life and wonder how much fatigue played a role in the accident.

note: cam date is obviously wayyyyy off ....unless the news station was horribly swamped and just got to it recently :P
