They actually tried to disarm him first and gave him plenty of time to surrender. If you watch it slowly the gun malfunctions and CJ goes to hand cycle the slide for a fresh round. I’ve been on this website for a long time and almost never post anything. I just lurk. But I have to say I think OFTEN times cops do smoke people more out of paranoia and power trips (and racism) than real danger. I’m white btw and have done 6 years in prison. But I have to say in this case, that is a clear cut example of precisely WHAT and WHY and WHEN cops should and must use lethal force. The kids gun went off and he almost killed his little buddy. This wasn’t murder or excessive force. This was justice. Sorry? I hate cops (not with violent tendencies or anything, I just hate the flaws in a system that really can’t be done any other way) but this was definitely a clear cut case of DO THIS AND COPS SHOOT YOU. Sorry to his fam but he deserved it.
