Yes, a lot of people seemed to think my theory was stupid, with them not hearing a train approaching.
But I think if they walked all that way, with little or no food, they were absolutely tired out. That fact that it was announced that no trains would run was probably the deciding factor. I bet they were just beginning to wake up when the train hit them. The vibration and noise finally roused them, and as they just opened their eyes, the train was upon them. Sad ending for people just trying to get home to their families.

That is another 16 people who died indirectly because of covid , there are many more and the lock down restrictions very very high here in India with a little help from govt specially during the initial couple of week that created a mess.
