14 Killed, 38 Injured After Explosion in Terrorist Attack, Pan-american Highway
Colombia. The terrorist attack took place yesterday in the El Túnel sector of Cajibío, on the Pan-american Highway near Cauca. Many victims were on a traditional rural bus known as a chiva or in other passenger vehicles that had been stopped by armed groups to block the road before the explosive was detonated. Among the injured are five minors. A significant number of the victims were members of local Indigenous communities. The Colombian government primarily blames the Estado Mayor Central, a major dissident faction of the former FARC guerrilla group, for the bombing on the Pan-American Highway. This group is led by Iván Mordisco (Néstor Gregorio Vera Fernández), one of Colombia's most wanted figures. The EMC consists of former FARC members who rejected the 2016 peace agreement and have since focused on controlling drug trafficking and illegal mining. |

And the thing is about deluded terrorists like this is, they think they're the good guys when they massacre innocents on the road like this. Because in their twisted logic, these dead people are either guilty for some reason, or necessary collateral damage to the greater twisted cause.
