While I agree to a certain extent, I don't agree that it's better to die at 13 living a normal life. He was doing something an adult should've been doing. I know my dad would've never let my brother go up on the roof to clean gutters. That doesn't mean my dad was overprotective or sheltering him. There are just some things that young kids shouldn't be doing. Yes, shit happens and it sucks, but 13 is way too young to die.
