Zanzibar's main industries are spices, raffia, and tourism. The last thing they want is to scare off their cash cow. Considering Islamic terrorists propensity for international attacks, this has all the markings of a religious hate crime- but those are happening all over the world. ![]() ![]() Are you confusing Zanzibar with a middle eastern country? |

Verti, Go on Google Maps and put in Zanzibar. Look at the overhead satellite pics of it. It looks a lot like Haiti. In friendly countries they have street view. Not here. Hit street view though and click on the blue dots. Those are street pictures of this "Paradise". |

I can't abide the whole "blame the victim" thing either. No one gets up in the morning thinking "Gee, I wonder what I could wear today that will make some maniac stab me, or rape me, or throw some caustic substance at me". |
