Youngster That Was Shot in Chest and Head Crawls on the Ground
Brazil, A young man was sitting on the sidewalk in front of a house, waiting to go to a football game, when another guy approached and spoke with him. They had a discussion where the approacher threatened him. Soon after he passed by again on a bicycle and talked bullshit again with the victim. At a certain moment he pulled out a gun and began to shoot the youngster. The youngster tried to escape from the bullets. Then the killer got down from the bicycle and shot him in the chest and head. He died later on and the shooter was arrested.

Like I said, even if it's pretty damn obvious the person is going to die, just doing something as simple as trying to comfort them might make the victim feel like some at least cares.
