Young Woman Who Had Her Lip Bitten Off by Her Ex
A South Carolina woman can finally smile again after surgery to fix her lower lip, which was bit by her ex-boyfriend after she refused to come back with him.

Ex boyfriend asked to find one last time to return some personal items, she agreed. She said she was in the car when he suddenly leaned to kiss her. When she walked away, he bit his bottom lip so hard it was ripped off.

He was arrested shortly afterwards and pleaded guilty to assault, sentenced to 12 years in prison.

The girl got her mouth disfigured underwent plastic surgery, but doctors couldn't reimplant the lip fragment and she got permanent scars and a limited range of motion with her mouth. But with the help of another reconstructive surgery done by Dr. Brian Boland she can smile again.
