Young Woman Swan Dives Off a Pedestrian Bridge
Woman fighting for her life after falling from bridge near Smethwick Sikh temple 24 JUN 2023, UK- A woman is fighting for her life in hospital after falling from a bridge. Emergency services rushed to the scene in Smethwick after concerns for her welfare were raised. She was spotted on a bridge near Guru Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick this morning. Paramedics then took her to hospital in a critical condition after she fell. Drivers faced delays as the incident caused traffic in the area. Tollhouse Way was initially shut in both directions between its junctions with Telford Way and Rolfe Street. It has since reopened. A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: "We were called following concerns for a woman on a bridge near High Street, Smethwick this morning (June 24). "The woman fell from the bridge. She was taken to hospital in a critical condition." Source |

a nurse was trying to revive the person in the road before the emergency services arrived. maybe that saved her.  |

Maybe reverse swan dive since she went back first. It's a wonder her head hitting didn't turn her lights off for good.
