The girl was in an artificial coma for a month, she underwent five operations, during one of which she experienced clinical death. 'C' claims to remember this moment perfectly - she saw a door in front of her and a full moon illuminating the road under her feet. Death "spoke" to her and "convinced" her that it would not be a shame to surrender.

The doctors thought that the arm would have to be amputated, but they were able to remove the affected areas. Many nerves were cut out, so 'C' now hardly uses her left hand.
