I don't think there's a way you can prevent them, other than having your tonsils taken out, and doctors don't perform tonsillectomies anywhere NEAR as much as they used to back when pretty much every kid under 10 got them out after having too many sore throats. I've read a few dozen different ways to treat them, like gargling with mouthwash or salt water, and they're caused by bacteria and little bits of food being trapped in the crypts of the tonsils. Some people have a huge number of crypts, like the guy in the video, some pretty much have none. They're almost like little pus balls, and stink worse than the cheesiest feet!!
