My husband's had acupuncture for joint pain and the needles were inserted, left in for up to 15 min for desired effect then completely removed. This case is beyond logic |

I don't care one way or the other, but the article seemed keen to discredit acupunture. As for the body rejecting the object, gold is completely inert. There is no risk of rejection from the object itself. As for her forgoing MRI because the objects 'could move', gold is not ferrous, and hence is not magnetic and would be unaffected by MRI.
