Or perhaps some fentanyl and dilaudid.  A gal around here was riding in a pickup truck equipped with passenger-side airbags. She had her feet up on the dash when the dick-brained driver ran through an intersection and into a building. The airbag green-stick fractured both bones in both lower legs. They life-flighted her to a nearby hospital, but we could hear on the LF radio channel that they had her quite fucked up on fentanyl and dilaudid to keep her from breaking her restraints from pain.  |

One thing those medics did that literally made my mouth fall open was to remove his helmet when what they should have done was leave it the hell alone until they got him to the hospital because the way they removed it jeopardized his spinal cord and could have left him paralyzed... DUMBASSES!!! They should have left the helmet right where it was because it provided better immobilization for his spine than just the backboard...  |
