It looks like a roundworm. Roundworms don't know where to go in a human body, so they end up in the eyes. That's why your vet wants you to give pyrantel to your puppies and kittens. There is a case where a child went blind from round worms and they sued the vet for millions even tho they declined treatment for deworming.
