My son has Trypophobia. It started when he saw a video with a Suriname toad (female) who carries its fertilized eggs under the skin of her back. When the reach the tadpole stage they come out from under the skin leaving holes that eventually close. He can't look at any images things that have holes in them including the lotus seed pod much less the images on this site of maggots emerging through skin. He will vomit or won't be able to sleep at night because he feels thing crawling on him. It started at age fifteen.
