An Indian man survived a miracle after an iron bar pierced his head after a work accident.

Sanjay Bahe , a 21-year-old worker, was working on a construction site when he fell into a pit and the rod directly pierced his head.

The young man, originally from Balaghat , in central India, was immediately taken to the BJ hospital, near Gondia , in the state of Maharashtra.

The bar was extracted by a team of neurosurgeons after an operation that lasted ninety minutes at the Neuron Hospital. Although the surgery was complicated by the critical state of low blood pressure with which Bahe entered , after an hour and a half, doctors were able to remove the bar safely and almost without bleeding or injury in the surrounding area.
