Re: Woman's Experience With Black Salve
It is in some of the above posts. It's kind of like something witch doctors would concoct. analefaust had a great link, but, it has since been removed. Here is one from Shootist http://www.quackwatch.org/01Quackery...er/eschar.html This is not the same as the icthammol ointment 10% used in the US. I heard it was taken off the market, but, CVS has it. |

Re: Woman's Experience With Black Salve
Thank you, duggy, for the addition of Paul to the OP! I see one thing wrong. He saw white when the salve turned whatever it was Exorcist green and he seemed to have applied a lot less that the women! I still wouldn't try it. I'd go to a dermatologist. |

Re: Woman's Experience With Black Salve
It is sad! I figure, there will always be someone younger, thinner, better looking, smarter, not as smart, richer, and better everything, but, you have to make the best of what you have and deal with it, or this could happen! I'm afraid to have Lasie eye surgery for that reason. If I lost my sight, I'd never forgive myself! There will always be those who are worse off |

Re: Woman's Experience With Black Salve
This site doesn't talk exclusively of black salve, but it does show a list of people who tried "natural" remedies for a variety of ailments...and either died, were maimed and disfigured, or suffered other side effects that have changed their lives, and NOT for the better.
