Are you kidding me?!? Not a single one of these gawkers could show even a little bit of compassion for this poor woman?! You're in excruciating pain (or in extreme shock) not knowing if you'll even survive, and then you realize that several of the witnesses to your agony are snapping photos and recording it on video? I know that as a rule you're not supposed to move an injured person but in this situation for cripes sake couldn't a few of them work together to at least get her off the tracks? Shameful.

Cripes, this haunts me. One minute she's a human being, part of the crowd, and the next she's an oddity to stand around and watch die. Hey let's get some popcorn and pull up a chair. I'm surprised, actually, that there aren't itinerant vendors with refreshments and peanuts and such that hang around crowded train boarding sites, just in case. Now there's an overlooked market! ***Note to self: stay the fuck away from trains in foreign countries.... |

Thats a horrific vision of the mentality today. Yes i know i am just as bad joining a site that shows these types of horrific things HOWEVER the difference is if i were standing there i would NOT be capturing the scene for posterity.... I would have been tying off limbs and doing all i could to get that pitiful woman off the fucking tracks. How can those people look at that mangled woman and feel no mercy, no empathy. No connection to her as another human being in pain. Everyone just stood there gawking. Yeah somebody was calling for Allah but since He doesnt make personal appearances stfu and try to make her safe. This world is one big ole shitpile

Maybe, just maybe the people HAD called for help, but I doubt there is much of an emergency response team there. And maybe the people were telling her to lay still till help came. I doubt it, but I can't speak their language so I can't translate what that one man is shouting. I DO feel bad for the woman, but at the same time I am glad someone filmed it and posted it here! And yeah, I would have tried to help her if I had been there. But I come here to assuage my curiosity of events like this, like most of us that joined this site do. Why else join otherwise.   |
