Re: Woman In 'Suicide Pit'
Just have a think about the Train Driver. That photo is of an Intoxicated and Homeless woman, Not a suicide attempt. I happen to know several train drivers, One of whom had a fatality on the tracks at well over 140mph, Only the ear was found, the rest of the guy was vaporised. My friend couldnt go back to work and a year later he committed suicide. He left behind a wife and 2 lovely daughters. I know you lot love to see the gore, but just think about the consequences of what happens to others when people do this sort of act. The suicide pit is put there to prevent fatalities. They are primarily placed on the Deep Tube lines such as the Victoria, Bakerloo, Northern, Central and Jubilee Lines. |

Re: Woman In 'Suicide Pit'
Oh of course, the train driver will be extremely distressed and disturbed by such terrible events. It is a dreadful risk on the vast London Underground. I just feel the woman needs psychiatric help rather than arresting. |

Re: Woman In 'Suicide Pit'
The video shows nothing, She just lies there. Not a lot of people know that touching the negative or running rails will not kill you, its the 750Vdc in the live rail which does. Thats why the + rail is put as far away from the platforms as possible. Its usually the outermost rail. This method of suicide really peeves me. I dont understand why they cant just sit at home and take pills, slit writst, hang their selves or just take meds and roll into a coma. Bringing other people into your own suicide attempt is extremely disgraceful in my opinion. |
